What a day it was - it started to rain around 11.00am and 'doom and despair' had set in with all our helpers by midday as we were all convinced that this year's event was literally going to be a wash out, as surely no one would bother turning out in that sort of weather!

How wrong we were as we had clearly underestimated our dedicated rescue owners who showed up in vast numbers even though the rain was coming down in torrents by our scheduled start time- what a fantastic lot they are…

It was decided that our classes would take place outside as planned and no one complained or even seemed to notice the rain, as they competed for prizes and rosettes (see separate Judges Report and Fun Day photos).

The day turned out to be one of the best we have ever had (even the rain dried up towards the end), plenty of great barbeque food, some super raffle, tombolla and a mind-blowing display from Dr Attilla Sckulalek and Fly.
