Norfolk and Suffolk Steam Engine Club
Woodton Lady The club is in the unique position of owning its own traction engine.

'Woodton Lady' is a 6 nhp single cylinder Marshall Traction Engine no. 54486. It was what Marshalls called their 'Faithful Type'. The engine left the works on 1st July 1910 for the Peterborough Show and was sold through Messers G Thurlow & Co Ltd, Stowmarket to a Mr C Hewitt of Eastmoor Norfolk.

When registered for the first time on 24th August 1921 the owner was Mr Albert Howlett. The next registered owner was Mr John Moore Edwards in 1948 who kept the engine until giving it to the Norfolk Steam Engine Club in 1963.
